Mallory Gergely

Owner, CRNP, AAFE Certified

Welcome To Jade & Rory Medical Spa! I'm Mallory - owner and certified registered nurse practitioner. My journey to where I am now has been pretty non-traditional. After finishing nursing school I worked as a floor nurse at Jefferson Hospital, but quickly grew frustrated working holidays &weekends, and having inconsistent schedules.

I decided to go back to school to become a nurse practitioner and had no idea the potential possibilities this role would hold for me. After finishing school I worked in women’s health - a job that I absolutely loved. While there, I was introduced to the benefits of laser therapy

and Botox, as well as the many of the other wellness opportunities that come along with cosmetics and medical aesthetics. This led me to pursue further education from the American Academy of Facial Esthetics where I have become certified in Botox, dermal fillers, and PDO threads.

Helping women and men feel healthy, beautiful, and youthful is what led me to open Jade & Rory Medical Spa in West Newton, Pennsylvania. I hope that you'll make yourself a priority and stop in to see all that we have to offer!

Everyone on our team is professionally trained, certified, and licensed in their respective specialties. We all share the same goal: to make sure you are the best version of yourself! We can't wait to meet you!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I book an appointment?
Appointments can be scheduled by calling us at 724-633-2077; texting us at 412-401-4145; or by using our online scheduler
  • How much are your services?
Our botulinum toxin injections (Botox and Xeomin) are sold at $12/unit. Most of our fillers are $650 per full syringe or $350 per half syringe. Professional facials with medical grade skincare products start at $79. Please see our website for pricing on other individual services or contact us for more information.
  • What do I need to know about Botox?
Botox and Xeomin are botulinum toxin injections that are designed to temporarily relax certain muscles in your face, therefore reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles. There is no antidote or reversal agent for these injections. Please be sure to refer to our pre- and post-injection guidelines and ask any questions you may have prior to your treatment.
  • Do dermal fillers or Botox hurt?
We use only Comfortox brand esthetic syringes for botulinum toxin injections. These are specially designed for esthetic procedures with a (tiny) 31 gauge needle and a very smooth delivery system. Our dermal fillers are also administered using very small needles and a smooth glide syringe. We use topical numbing medication for dermal filler injections and the fillers themselves contain lidocaine for the most comfortable experience possible. No procedure is completely pain free, but we make every effort to make it as painless as possible.
  • How do PDO threads work?
PDO threads are made out of the same type of material that is used if you were to need stitches. It is fully absorbed by the body and will dissolve in about 6-8 months (although they can continue to work beyond this time frame). Smoothing threads are inserted just beneath the skin in areas of concern for wrinkles. They are also used in the lips for definition and border enhancement. Lifting threads are inserted in areas of the face, jaw, and neck to provide some lift (like a nonsurgical facelift).
  • Are PDO threads safe?
PDO smoothing and lifting threads by V-Soft are very safe when done by a trained and certified professional. Of course no procedure is without risk and you should discuss potential risks at the time of your consultation.
  • Do you accept insurance?
We do not accept insurance at this time.
  • Can I use my HSA or FSA spending account on services or products?
Yes! You will need to know how much is available in your account if your total exceeds what you have available.
  • How long does an appointment take?
Appointment times vary depending on the services being provided. A facial usually takes 40-60 minutes. Botox and filler injections can be 10 minutes for simple procedures or 40 minutes or more for extensive or complex injections. PDO threads are the most lengthy procedure and we recommend allowing for at least 1 hour for lifting threads.
  • How long do fillers, threads, and Botox last?
This varies for each individual. On average, Botox lasts 3-6 months, fillers last 4-6 months, smoothing threads also about 4-6 months, and lifting threads 18-24 months.
  • Do you sell gift cards?
Yes! Gift cards are available in any amount! Contact us for more information.
